🐎 Taming the Untamed
Not all Asterions seek connection — some must be approached with patience, respect, and understanding. Taming is not about control, but trust… a quiet meeting between wild spirit and willing rider.
Each encounter is different. Some bonds form in stillness. Others must be earned through courage, persistence, and time.

Level 1 — First Sighting
You spot a wild Asterion Vale at a distance. You do not approach yet — you observe posture, breathing, and whether it allows your presence.
Level 2 — Gentle Approach
You close the distance slowly, stopping often. Sudden movement resets progress. The goal is simple: remain near without being chased off.
Level 3 — Offering Calm
You introduce non-threatening signals: lowered stance, relaxed hands, quiet voice (or silence). You may offer water, herbs, or a simple food item — but only if the Asterion Vale chooses to take it.
Level 4 — Shared Space
You spend time nearby without asking anything of it. This is where trust begins: the Asterion Vale learns you are not a threat, and you learn its boundaries.
Level 5 — First Contact
If the Asterion Vale allows it, you attempt a brief touch — shoulder or neck only. If it flinches or retreats, you stop immediately and return to Level 4 behavior.
Level 6 — Following & Leading
You test movement trust: the Asterion Vale follows you a few steps, or allows you to walk alongside. No rope, no restraint — just willingness.
Level 7 — The Acceptance Token
You introduce a soft halter, ribbon, charm, or braided cord — something symbolic, not controlling. If the Asterion Vale accepts wearing it even briefly, the bond is strengthening.
Level 8 — First Guided Journey
You travel together for a short distance: across a clearing, to water, or away from the herd’s edge. This confirms the Asterion Vale will choose you even when distractions exist.
Level 9 — The Trial of Trust
A final challenge tests the bond — a sudden sound, unfamiliar environment, or mild threat. The taming succeeds if the Asterion Vale returns to you instead of fleeing entirely.
Level 10 — Tamed Bond Forged
The Asterion Vale is considered truly tamed when it seeks you out willingly. From here, training becomes partnership — and the bond can deepen through Rider Bonding activities.

🎲 Taming Check System
Taming an Asterion Vale is not a single moment — it is a gradual unfolding of trust. Each interaction tests patience, presence, and the willingness of both rider and wild spirit to meet halfway.
The Taming Check System represents these moments of uncertainty. Every attempt reflects the Asterion Vale’s mood, environment, and growing familiarity with you. Progress is never forced — it is earned through consistency, respect, and time.
Success moves the bond forward.
Setbacks simply mean the Asterion Vale needs more reassurance.
Trust cannot be rushed… but it can always grow.
