Hello and welcome to Aurelion Vale.

This has been a project child of mine, for roughly 11 years. It has undergone major and minor tweaks here and there, both to the storyline, the plotline and everything else overall. Based around my love for the A Court of Thorns and Roses series by Sarah J. Maas, I began building this world, to loosely correlate with her world of Prythian. Each area of Aurelion Vale, is ruled over by a 'Court' like system, similar to how Prythian is ruled. As the world grew and as my life grew, I forgot about my project. Until I discovered my journal, outlining all the things I'd wanted to build. A binder, filled with ideas that never got to see the light of day.

Until now...

✨The Journey
The journey of getting Aurelion Vale started began in 2017. Using various DeviantArt resources, I primarly made use of the Stash program to jot down further ideas. And from that, I made use of my own binder, putting everything I jotted down online, into a physicial format, to have on hand. From there, I once again, drifted away from my project, but this time, only temporarily, as I began reading other books and gathering up even more ideas to be added to my own project (seriously, you wouldn't believe the amount of books I drew inspiration from). That doesn't include the multiple movies and tv shows I took insipration from as well (namely Voyage of the Unicorn).

✨ About the Vision
Aurelion Vale was envisioned as a realm where power is earned, identity is discovered, and growth is celestial in nature.
Rather than centering on inherited authority or political dominance, the Vale is built around progression, alignment, and personal ascension. Riders cultivate their strength through exploration, crafting, bonding, and resonance with the Courts — not by bloodline, but by experience.

The world was designed to feel mythic and luminous, yet structured and interactive. It blends atmospheric fantasy with tangible systems, allowing its inhabitants to shape their journey through choice, effort, and discovery.

At its heart, Aurelion Vale is about:
-
Ascension over inheritance
-
Harmony over hierarchy
-
Creation over conquest
-
Growth through alignment
The Vale is not merely a setting — it is a living system, meant to evolve alongside those who walk within it.
